The Professors

Inés Peragallo and José Pedroni studied music at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral in Argentina and formed a duet in 1984. At that time they engaged actively in several concert performances, which led to their first European tour in 1986. During the tour they performed in the main European capitals such as Vienna, Munich, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, Luxemburg, Athens, Rome, Prague and Stockholm. Their repertoire ranges from old Renaissance works for two lutes to contemporary music. They have recorded a number of CD’s with several of those works.

Inés Peragallo devotes most of her time to guitar pedagogy and some of her books have been published by well‐known publishing houses such as Henry Lemoine in France and Ricordi in Germany.

“The phrasing cascaded in a dream‐like sequence. It was noticeable that both performers master the techniques of the instrument and are in posses-sion of an excellent expressive palette.”
